Betty's Sunflowers
This morning i woke up incredibly early (9 a.m) with an uncontrollable urge to stitch so i picked up the interlocking ring quilt I've been working on for my grandma. It's sort of a variation of double wedding ring but the rings connect and don't cross, leaving large open white spaces in between begging for an eye catching design. I finally decided to quilt very pale sunflowers into each center and use multi colored jewel thread to quilt vines around each ring. What do you think? Do you think that the sunflowers will draw the eye away from the rings to much and destroy the overall pattern?

Hi Megan, thanks for the great comment on my quilt show pics. I find the quilt shows either through quilting groups that I am a part of (like Quilts of Valor) or through local quilt shops. I'm not sure where you're located, but I would reach out to quilt shops in your neck of the woods and see which shows they participate in. Hope that helps!
